Why restaurants need copy editors

My friend Kathryn Morton – managing editor for design of Harrisburg’s Central Penn Business Journal — posted on Facebook last night:

Saw this sign yesterday and almost drove off the road.

Sadly, it was still there 24 hours later, when I returned to document it. Only time I foresee myself going back again is with a ginormous red pen and a ladder.

You know who else needs copy editors? Cake decorators. And baseball jersey manufacturers. And T-shirt designers. And Time magazine.

  • Breackfast? Is that the meal between breakfast and brunch? (And does it come with a slice of cantaloupe?)
